Cineplexx is an Austrian theatrical group with more than four decades of experience in this field.

''Cineplexx Kinobetriebe GmbH'' was founded in 1993 and is a 100% subsidiary of Constantin Film-Holding GmbH, which belongs to the Austrian family Langhammer. Cineplexx emerged in the transition phase during the 1990s when traditional cinemas were closed and multiplex cinemas entered the market. Constantin Film realized this trend and developed a multiplex chain with 25 cinemas and 220 screens across Austria, Croatia and Northern Italy.
